Peer Support Services

Support from someone who has been there.

Peer support pairs you with a trained specialist who has lived experience of mental health or substance use challenges — someone who understands the road and walks it with you.

What peer support includes

A person in your corner, not another program.

Peer support is not therapy, and it is not case management. It is a relationship with someone who has been through similar challenges and is trained to help you move toward the goals you set for yourself.

01

Someone who has been there

Our peer specialists are trained professionals with their own lived experience of mental health or substance use challenges. They understand the road because they have walked it.

02

Help navigating care

Peer support includes setting personal goals, preparing for appointments, understanding your benefits, and finding the right services in your community.

03

Ongoing connection

Regular check-ins, accompaniment to community resources, and introductions to recovery and support groups close to home.
